  2. I have had Dan do a couple of jobs for me, & I’ve been very pleased with his work. He communicates well & is a very good worker. I am confident in recommending him to others; however, with the hopes that he wouldn’t be too busy should I need him for another project! {:-)

    Just a note to thank you for all your help around our house here in Grand Haven!

    Jim and I have been very impressed with the quality of your work and your follow through. You completed so many indoor and outdoor projects and tasks for us with both promptness and skill. We had an extensive “To Do” List and you zipped right through it!

    We were especially glad to get our deck stained, the heavy sign put up in the family room, tree/shrubs removed, gutters installed, the kitchen cabinet repaired, the garage door fixed and those small electrical projects completed—to say nothing about the myriad of smaller tasks that you completed for us.

    We are so appreciative of your help. Please do not hesitate using us as a reference in the future.

    I am so happy with the ceiling fan you installed. It is so nice and a great job you did installing it as well as the door now closes and other projects you did not only inside but outside as well. The house looks great after power washing it .
    Your very effective and efficient and no messes were left behind.

It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. You were always on time and a pleasure to talk to.   8. Dan installed our new doors and storms, slider, fencing and ceiling fans.. He did a fantastic job!! He is thorough and finished the job in a timely manner. We will be using Dan’s services again for a growing list of projects and will recommend Dan to everyone we know!! So happy to have found him!! Thanks Dan!!

  9. For some time, I was searching for a “Handyman” to help with chores around my home. Lo and behold how fortunate I was to find one, you, Dan Houle. What a wonderful, ambitious, honest and hard worker you are! Your energy never seems to end…You truly take much pride in all you do; and are not afraid to go beyond your “call of duty”. There are still many jobs to be done here and what a relief I feel, knowing I can count on you. In this day and age it is rare to find someone with integrity who takes much pride in their workmanship. Also, we’ve shared many great stories together. I feel truly blessed. And will certainly let all my friends know of your “expertise and willingness to help”. Thank you Dan Houle!

  10. Dan Houle has truly been a Godsend for me! He has done some mechanical household work and installed a front entry door.
    He is very easy to work with. Approachable; knowledgeable and goes the extra distance to make sure you are happy with the work he has done.
    I heard about Dan from a coworker, whose parents had him do work for them. Best call I ever made.
    The only bad thing I can say is that I could keep him too busy to take on jobs for others!

  13. I`m very happy a friend of mine told me about Dan. He`s affordable and knowledgeable about a variety of projects I`ve needed help with. He doesn`t want any payment until the job is completed and you`re satisfied with his work. Will definitely keep calling Dan for help.

  14. Dan came as a referral from my mom. We’ve had several other carpenters over to give us quotes for the job we needed done (7 to be exact) and they never returned with the quote.
    Dan did the job efficiently for a more than fair price. His work ethic is ‘old school’ and amazing. I grew up with my father as the carpenter and when he passed away this last year we all suffered on the ‘repair’ end of things. Dan picked up the ball and has been helping us all with his amazing skills! Thank you sooooooooo much!

  15. Dan is great!! He is very professional, on time and open to any projects including Ikea assembly. My husband will not touch Ikea but Dan was able to quickly figure out the many different cabinets, curtain panels, cart and shelving assemblies. He is your Ikea guru!! He will be surfacing our old house brick, redoing our pillars, as well as all other future projects we have. Thanks Dan!!

  17. Dan did quality work at a good price. I will be using him for more things that I am not able to do. He showed up when he said he would and there was no mess when he was done. I will recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services.

  18. From putting in a window to caulking the bathtub, Dan did an excellent job on everything he did for me. His prices are very affordable too. He guarantees all his work and if something isn’t right he will come back and fix it. I would recommend Dan for anyone who needs a handyman.

  19. We have been very happy with the work that Dan has completed in our condo. The six projects included electrical/plumbing that we did not feel we had the expertise or patience to complete. We appreciate his excellent follow through and timely completion of various assignments as well as the fair pricing. We would highly recommend his business to anyone in the Tri City area and we are planning to use Dan in the future. We believe he is a boon to us Seniors!

  20. I had to have a repair of rotted wood in both the subfloor and ends of floor joists and called Dan. I came across his website from a search and after reading the reviews I decided to use him. He fixed and repaired the issue and did a great job! He’s very nice and approachable and offers great pricing. He cares about what he does and as a customer that is very much appreciated! I will definitely use him again!
