Who wants to give up freedom or make that difficult choice for a family member.  We have helped many elderly and family members hold off on that difficult and expensive decision.  There are many services for the elderly that choose to age at home.  We have provided services that help make the home a safer place by installing grab bars, ramps and grip strips to name a few.  We have even have dropped by to check up on loved ones upon request of someone out of town.  We hope we can help you as it is especially meaningful to me.  I came from Corporate America and it is not the same as it was.  When I started doing this 6+ years ago I was called by an elderly women who asked if I did quotes.  I responded absolutely and set an appointment to meet with her.  She showed me several small items which I was able to fix on the spot.  When we were done she looked at me in horror as I had fixed everything and she realized I had not quoted.  She asked "what do I owe you"?  I responded nothing call me when you have another project.  She looked at me like a deer in the head lights.  I sensed her biggest fear was being taken advantage of.  Thus, the request for a quote.  Back to the story, she said "she had to pay me something or she could not call me again".  She made me an offer and  I took half .  She has been very generous and makes a mean cookie.  These customers are the most rewarding given what has happened in the private sector over the last two decades.

I have several customers that have cottages in Grand Haven and live out of state.  I even have one that lives in Austraila.  They typically get a chance to come back a couple weeks in the summer and do short term rentals.  Some manage their properties themselves while others hire a property management firm.  In both situations my relationship is directly with the home owner.  Property managers mark up the cost of repairs and maintenance as part of the management fees for the property.  Let Grand Haven Handyman Services help with the repairs and maintenance and eliminate those mark ups.  In addition we provide property checks and smart home installations for monitoring and security.
